The Ice Dawgs win the first ever Egg Cup title with a lopsided 10-0 blowout of Ole Miss.

In front of over 2,500 fans, the Ice Dawgs held nothing back and scored 10 unanswered goals against state rival Ole Miss to give goalie Chris Pinelli his first shutout of his career with MSU.
The first goal scored of the night was an unexpected one: a shorthanded 5-on-3 wrist-shot from the blue line by Corey McCarn, notching his first career point for MSU.
